Guns N’ Roses will perform in Bengaluru and Guwahati as they come back to India.
Guns N’ Roses will come back to India in November for two shows, one in Bengaluru and another in Guwahati, as part of the Asia part of their current world tour.
The events, organized and advertised by BookMyShow Live, are scheduled to happen at Nice Grounds in Bengaluru on November 14 and Khanapara Ground in Guwahati on November 17.
The dates come after the band’s shows in India in 2025, which will be their first performances there in over ten years. The Guwahati stop shows the band is moving into new areas beyond the cities they’ve already performed in India.
The tour is happening at the same time as the release of two new songs, “Nothin'” and “Atlas,” which are the band’s first original songs since 2023. The songs show different styles: “Atlas” has a strong, fast rock feel, while “Nothin'” focuses on keyboards and thoughtful guitar playing.
This year’s concerts are part of the Bandland on Tour series, produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live.
“Few bands have shaped the history of rock music in the way Guns N’ Roses have and their influence continues to resonate across generations of fans worldwide,” said chief business officer of live events at BookMyShow, Naman Pugalia.
“Their return is a testament to the continued growth of India’s live entertainment ecosystem and the country’s emergence as a vibrant cultural destination for world-class experiences.
While Bengaluru has firmly established itself as India’s rock capital, Guwahati reflects the tremendous potential of emerging markets and the growing appetite for large-scale live entertainment across the region.”
Bengaluru has become well-known as India’s rock music hub, but Guwahati shows how new markets are rising and how people across the region are getting more interested in big live music events.
Pugalia notes that while Bengaluru has been a major rock music market in the country for a long time, the inclusion of Guwahati shows that there’s increasing interest in big live music events beyond the usual concert cities in India. A group that once stood for rebellion among a generation is now playing a key role in shaping the future of live music in India.
The band, which includes Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan, Dizzy Reed, Richard Fortus, Isaac Carpenter, and Melissa Reese, sold 1.3 million tickets for their 2024 world tour. Their earlier “Not in This Lifetime” tour was ranked fourth in terms of total ticket sales among all-time concert tours.
